Meet Squid’s Team

Squid has been working in After Effects since age 13 and now leads a lean team delivering premium motion design and animation, from pitching through final delivery. His skills include advanced storytelling, emotional depth, and sophisticated hands-on creative decisions.
Entering the industry as a staff creator at Westbrook Media, he gained valuable insight working on Will Smith's content for 3 years pre-slap. His work has ammassed 65M+ views on social platforms featuring talent such as Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Lil Nas X, Alicia Keys, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jaden Smith, Willow, Anna Delvey, D Smoke, 21 Savage, and Megan Thee Stallion. @squidjuice

Santiago Lozano is a master illustrator based in Argentina with 20+ years in the industry leading teams and building layouts from the ground up in a range of styles. His work spans storyboards, concept art, and character design for projects developed by Disney, DreamWorks, LEGO, Nickelodeon, and Westbrook Media.
As Squid’s lead illustrator, Santi sets the illustration standard across projects—delivering high-volume layout systems, polished frames, and consistent visual direction—backed by a scalable team that can expand quickly to meet tight timelines without sacrificing any quality. @sigelstudio

Michael Rizzi is a Cologne-based layout artist known for shaping the on-screen world of Netflix’s How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). Designing layouts directly in After Effects, he keeps the work immediately production-ready without handoff and no translation loss. That premium, detail-first finish, honed in at btf, matches Squid’s standard and scales cleanly across large-scale projects and deadlines. 2D and 3D. @_michael_rizzi

Akshay Anand is a 3D artist who handles large scenes with fast, aggressive camera work and a high bar for finish. He’s one of the few people who can build a full 3D environment in our painterly stroke style without it drifting back into “normal CG.” He designs the stroke assets, keeps the look consistent across the whole world, and delivers shots that stay premium under real deadlines. @d3signeric

John Felipe Miranda is an artist with a focus on concept art and design. He studied graphic design at Cal Poly Pomona and is a native born of Pomona, California. He’s designed for featured films such as “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “Spider-Man: Far from Home”. His projects have been awarded Clios and featured on massive publications.

Rees Geraghty is Squid’s character animator, bringing strong acting, timing, and high-level facial expression. His portfolio includes animation for Street League Skateboarding and other top-tier skate ventures. He can shift character animation style to match what the story calls for, from controlled and intentional to fully amplified performance. Inside our pipeline, he works tightly with Santi on key poses, knows how to request the exact illustrations he needs, then carries them through performance while keeping our painterly stroke style intact. @rees_g
